The Eurospace Policy Committee is meant to provide guidance to the Secretary General to orientate the activities of the Association and prepare the major decisions to be submitted to the Council.

The Policy Committee is formed by the Council and chaired by the Secretary General. It carries out the tasks delegated by the Council and takes initiatives to promote and develop space activities.

The Policy Committee can receive the power to make decisions from the Council on a case by case basis.

Outcome of the Policy Committee activities are reported to the Council by the Secretary General.

Task Forces

Eurospace is the reference body for consultation and dialogue within the industry. The main focus of Eurospace is space policy and strategy. The association regularly issues recommendations based on the identification of issues affecting industry as a whole. The association maintains a permanent policy, programmatic, and technology watch through the activities of its working groups and with the support of the Executive team. The knowledge and understanding gained are used to promote a more space conscious Europe.

Activities are carried out within Task Forces, created at the initiative of the Policy Committee. Task Forces are composed and chaired by industry representatives. Coordination and support (minutes, invitation, supporting data and documents…) of Task Forces activities is provided by Eurospace Executive. Task Forces are created with a specific objective and a limited time frame. They can involve a subset of Eurospace members and can accommodate the participation of non member entities.
